Learning Objectives

Who Is This Module For?

This module is intended for organizations at the Exploration phase of the AI journey who have a general sense for how AI could advance their strategic purpose. You perhaps have some early-stage ideas or AI use cases you want to pursue, but the problem space is still quite fuzzy. In this module, we will emphasize the importance of taking a problem-first (and not tech-first) approach. You will work on crafting a clear problem statement, ideating potential solutions rooted in that problem space, and finally you will evaluate promising AI-based ideas for whether AI is a good fit. You and your organization should be open to considering that a technology solution may not end up being the way forward.

How Does It Work?

This module is designed to be taken as a small group of anywhere from 3-6 individuals from your organization. Including preparation, we estimate that you and your team will spend ~1.5 hours/week for ~7 weeks on this module. You’ll find more on how to form your team and a detailed timing breakdown can be found in the Prep section. That being said, feel free to adjust the pace to the needs of your team.
