OpenEarth built CityCatalyst, a platform that uses machine learning to analyze satellite imagery and make it easier for more cities to track and reduce their GHG emissions.
CityCatalyst automates much of the process, empowering city leaders take data-driven action regardless of their size or resources. It provides the granular data about a city’s emissions that is necessary to unlock climate finance—private and public capital that funds public transportation, renewable energy infrastructure, and other emissions reduction strategies.
